Check Out This Great Trailer for Habib Faisal's ISHAQZAADE!

One of my most anticipated HIndi films of 2012 is a film that was nowhere on my radar until this trailer appeared online. Habib Faisal's Ishaqzaade, starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra looks like a rollicking good time, and I can't wait to check it out.

Director and writer, Faisal, has a really solid track record in mainstream Hindi film. He's penned several quality scripts for films I love, including the South London romance Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, and recent underdog hit Band Baaja Baaraat. He also wrote and directed Disney co-production Do Dooni Char, starring Rishi Kapoor (Agneepath), which went on to mediocre business but great reviews. Yash Raj's website gives the briefest of summaries, but here we go:
Rising from the ashes of hooliganism and small town clan wars, comes the love story of a passion ignited by hatred.

Of two people. Born to hate. Destined to love.

One kingdom. One throne. Two wild animals... unpredictable Parma... ferocious Zoya. A battle... deafened by sounds of hate, revenge, bullets and deceit.

A story... about two fiery bloods played by Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, and their fight for power and supremacy.

A story about love brewing in a small town burning with hatred.

A story called ISHAQZAADE.

Follow the story of the ishaqzaade's as their turbulent journey unfolds in the often unrealistic and daunting political confines of rural India.
Stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are new to the screen, but nowhere near new to Bollywood. Kapoor is the son of producer Boney Kapoor (Mr. India) and related to many other Hindi film stars. Chopra is the cousin of former Miss World and current Bollywood A-lister Priyanka Chopra. Parineeti made her debut in last year's John Tucker Must Die-inspired Ladies V/S Ricky Bahl, which was also written by Faisal.

Neither of the actors appear to be hesitant in front of the camera, which is a good thing, since it seems that the film's success will hinge on their chemistry. This trailer looks really hot, and I'm excited to share it.  Ladies and gentlemen, Ishaqzaade!
