Watch The First Ten Minutes Of 1st Animated Film BERSERK **UPDATE**

[Update 2:  Replace the opening ten-minute video with a slightly better video quality version]

[Update:  Added another video below from an episode of Imagine Nation where the main topic of news is Berserk and its upcoming animated trilogy.  If you fast forward to the 10:40 mark, there is a 77-second pilot from Studio 4C that serve as a proof of concept to convince the creator Kentaro Miura to give the go ahead to produce the animated film version.

To kick off the premiere of the theatrical release for Studio 4C animated film Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler (Berserk Ougon Jidaihen I: Hao no Tamago, ベルセルク 黄金時代篇Ⅰ 覇王の卵) in Japan today, Gyao is hosting the first ten minutes until Sunday and its restricted to the locals only.  Fortunately for us, a Berserk fan has capture the video and posted it on YouTube.  The video features a large and powerful army sieging a castle and a young Guts engaging in a duel against Bazuso.  Susumu Hirasawa's theme song "Aria" is shown in the opening credits.  Due to online laws and regulations, the graphic violence were censored but the film will remain uncut in theaters.

You'll find the opening embedded below.  Also embedded is the music video "Utsukushiki Mono" (aka Beautiful Things) by Japanese-American singer Ai and a TV spot that commemorate the special edition of the original manga.
