Kathryn Bigelow Reunites Dural's Favourite Sons
Brothers Nash and Joel Edgerton have certainly come a long way since running around in Dural, a semi-rural suburb of Sydney, Australia, making epic movies with their mates on their 8mm camera.
Joel has just finished playing the manly, mustachioed Tom Buchanan in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, while Nash has also finished up on the film, as Joel's stunt double -- in between travelling around the world in support of his successful short film, Bear.
Soon they will be reunited in front of the camera, after Kathryn Bigelow cast Nash, a self-professed non-actor (although he has cast himself in his own short films) alongside Joel in Kill Bin Laden (or whatever the title becomes... maybe The Dirt Locker).
In the same casting news is Jennifer Ehle, hot off small roles in pedigree pictures The King's Speech and The Ides of March, and a very small role as "Brooklyn Ice House Bartender" in that silly Matt Damon movie about doors and hats, The Adjustment Bureau.
