Countdown: 24 Hours Until DANGER 5 Launch!
After four months of being fed morsels of the greatest 1960-spy-Hitler-spoof-since-that-Peter-Sellers-movie-I-was-sure-was-real, we're happy to report Danger 5 has now reached the red zone, with only 24 hours hours until its launch onto Australian TV.
Painstakingly created by Dario Russo and David Ashby (and no doubt, a hundred of their friends dressed as Nazi monkeys, Diamond Girls and Dino-men), Danger 5 doesn't ask many questions, but when it does it seduces you with cocktails and cigarettes and asks what if World War II had happened in the 1960s and the Allies had sent a team of classy super-spies to bring Adolf Hitler to justice? And then it answers this question, in spades.
Check out the trailer below, then get out your calendar and circle 9:30pm, tune your TV into SBS in preparation, stockpile some snacks and stock up your liquor cabinet, and start your countdown to tomorrow night.
