Malick Trumps Aronofsky, Bale Passes On NOAH.
Long considered the prime choice for the title character in Darren Aronofsky's upcoming Noah, Christian Bale has had to pass on the project due to time commitments to the two pictures - Lawless, Knight Of Cups - he is shooting back to back with Terrence Malick.
All is not lost, however. According to Variety while there has been no formal offer made yet Aronofsky has been speaking directly with Michael Fassbender about the project. Fassbender has had another project he was interested in for the same time frame fall through so has become available and is apparently interested.
