It's no secret that Philippe Falardeau's film about an Algerian immigrant who is hired to replace an elementary school teacher is Canada's submission for the category of Best Foreign Language Film at this year's Oscars. I only tout it out of a sense of national pride. Peruse the full list of all 63 submissions hoping to make the short list and you will find titles and filmmakers that have graced the pages of Twitch over the years.
