Eastwood's J. EDGAR Set to Open AFI Fest'11

AFI announced today that Clint Eastwood's J. EDGAR will world premiere as the opening night film at this year's AFI Fest 2011 kicking off November 3rd in Hollywood. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as the enigmatic founding director of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover. The biopic co-stars Naomi Watts, Armie Hammer and Judi Dench and was written by Oscar winner for Milk, Dustin Lance Black.

AFI Fest in their partnership with Audi is again offering free tickets to every one of their screenings - though passes are also available for those who want to guarantee entry. The fest is centered around the Mann Chinese and Egyptian theaters in Hollywood.
