You may have seen it earlier as a bootleg cam-job but if you haven't seen the first teaser for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises in proper resolution then you may as well not have seen it at all. And now the trailer for what will surely stand as the greatest trilogy of superhero films made to date has officially arrived online so you can do just that.
True to form director Nolan gives up very little in this piece despite the relatively lengthy run time. This is all about the tone and mythology of the piece and while we do catch brief shots of Tom Hardy as Bane and Christian Bale as Batman the message here isn't about plot but about foreboding. This one's going to be dark.
