First Look At Tom Hardy As Bane In THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
Ladies and gentlemen, Christopher Nolan's third Batman film has its villain and the first image has arrived online. It is Tom Hardy as Bane, the image released with a bit of subterfuge on the official website which put it online with a bit of jiggling and poking required of individual viewers to get it to show properly. But luckily the rather fanatical folk at SuperHeroHype have done all the poking required so we can give the goods to you straight.
So, what do you think? Nolan has done a remarkable job of fusing the realistic with the larger than life in this series - and that large bit will definitely continue, with the director promising to make more extensive use of the IMAX format - which makes Bane an intriguing choice as villain. And you can seemingly never go wrong casting Hardy. My expectations are high.
