Want to know what you might be getting in to with James Gunn's Super? Then I very much recommend taking a look at the animated title sequence. Freshly released over on the film's Facebook page this sequence sums up the madness nicely. It's brightly colored, chirpy, super happy and absolutely drenched in blood and gore. It's exactly this sort of transgressive, hyper-violent madness that drives Gunn's superhero vigilante picture and it's pretty damn brilliant.
After his wife falls under the influence of a drug dealer, an everyday
guy transforms himself into Crimson Bolt, a superhero with the best
intentions, though he lacks for heroic skills.
