Michael Fessbender In Negotiations For Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS
Ridley Scott may have found his leading man for his much anticipated return to science fiction and it's fantastic news on two fronts.
One, it's not Scott's recent go-to leading man Russell Crowe. I've run the continuum from admiration to apathy to active dislike with Crowe and I'd have been more than a bit disheartened to see him stepping into this world. I've been holding my breath a bit, fearing that outcome, and I'm greatly relieved it has not come to pass.
Two, it's Michael Fassbender. And if there's a better pair of leads for a hard ass but also emotionally grounded and highly intelligent science fiction picture than Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace then I'm hard pressed to say who they might be. This is absolutely ideal. Yes, please.
