Like A Caged Rhino That Hasn't Been Fed In Weeks, The Trailer For Uwe Boll's BLUBBERELLA Smashes Boundaries Of Good Taste.

Todd Brown, Founder and Editor
There has been a great deal of speculation about whether Uwe Boll's Blubberella is, in fact, an actual movie or just an elaborate prank. It's the sort of conversation that you'd expect the film's trailer to put to rest, but nope. Because, you see, while Boll has openly acknowledged that he made this one - as well as Auschwitz - on the back of Bloodrayne: The Third Reich, keeping costs down by reusing sets, the trailer goes a good bit farther than that by reusing a hefty amount of actual Bloodrayne footage.

But enough of that. Whatever this may actually be we now have footage of Boll's fat, female superhero. Which may seem like a crass way of phrasing things but it's how the good doctor himself has chosen to sell it. Watch the trailer below if you dare.

    I...erh....hengh.....ah-ah-ah-ah Boll Hitler------super duper....brain broken.

The movie doesn't exactly look promising (far from it), but Hollister seems to be enthused and energetic in what will probably be one of the few action heroine leading roles of her career. I'll probably watch it out of curiosity about that performance. And to see Doc Boll as Hitler.

My girlfriend is going to love this movie... She is fat and has big tits but looks like Fatty Arbuckle.. I don't mind, looks aren't my thing and she gives the best handjob any money can buy...

Look, Roger Corman used the same sets for "Bucket of Blood" and the original "Little Shop of Horrors." It does save money and cuts down significantly on waste. As for reusing footage and special effects, yeah, Corman did that too. None of that is new.

"Blubberella" lacks taste (and laughs, it seems) but still not really that far from John Waters/Troma territory and clearly an attempt to squeeze that much more out of those costumes and sets because no matter what German tax law you're using, "Auschwitz" is gonna' bomb.

However, as far has "stopping Uwe Boll," I used to be on that band-wagon, but honestly, no ones forcing you to watch this crap and there's far worse crimes against cinema and humanity being perpetrated every day. He's just tap dancing on painful memories so you'll pay attention. He wouldn't do it if it didn't work.

It's as if you think someone around here was complaining about the re-use of sets and props etc...

Those who read Todd's piece will notice the only thing implied as unusual is the use of actual Bloodrayne footage in the trailer for another movie.

As for your response to the "stop him!" stuff: methinks you're taking it all a wee bit too seriously...

  • Why this? Can't anyone stop this man? ^_^

Ehi, is Hitler played by Uwe?
