The Man From Nowhere to open The London Korean Film Festival 2010
The 5th London Korean Film Festival returns this year on the 5th November with a showcase of 21screenings at 3 venues across London. So if you're in the mood for new work from the country that brought us recent wonders such as Old Boy, Mother and A Bittersweet Life then what better place to sample them than amongst some similarly enthused cinema-goers.
Though primarily at the ICA this year, the festival opens at the Odeon West End with Lee Jeong-beom's revenge thriller The Man From Nowhere, followed by Kim Jee-woon's much lauded and bloody I Saw The Devil, both complete with director Q&As.
Closing the festival is Im Sang-soo's remake of the classic 1960s drama, The Housemaid, whilst inbetween there's a Jang Jin retrospective, the Frightfest-screened revenge shocker Bedevilled and the mystery thriller Bestseller (already slated for a US remake...)
