Kevin Smith Anti-Teases RED STATE
Kevin Smith is making a horror film and he wants you to know it. And so he has released this photo of out of focus church pews and the back of someone's head. Because nothing stirs the interest of horror fans like frizzy hair.
The film in question is the now-in-production Red State, Smith's jab at the likes of Fred Phelps, minister of the Westboro Baptist Church and poster boy for religion twisted to justify intolerance. Details are very sketchy so far but we know John Goodman, Michael Parks, Kyle Gallner, Melissa Leo, Michael Angarano, Stephen Root and Kevin Pollak. That's the back of Parks' head, apparently. Hopefully something more substantial will follow soon.
