Anderson's THE MASTER On Indefinite Hold
PT Anderson's The Master may not be dead but it appears to be on life support with stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jeremy Renner both stating in recent interviews that the project is on hold.
The interesting thing here is that it doesn't appear to be a money issue but a creative one, with Renner stating that things were shut down after the trio got together for rehearsals and "we kept coming up against a wall that we couldn't overcome."
Upside here is that they can hopefully figure this out. Downside is that Renner's bloody busy these days so even if they do, he may no longer be available.
