The official website for the Gregory M. Wilson-directed movie Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door is now functional, and on that site are two stills galleries for the movie. The movie has been rated 'R' by the Classification And Rating Administration (CARA) "for sadistic torture and sexual abuse, nudity, language and strong sexual dialogue - all involving children."

As was previously reported here on Twitch, the screenplay for Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door was written by Daniel Farrands and Philip Nutman, based on the novel The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum. The movie's cast apparently includes Blythe Auffarth, Daniel Manche, Blanche Baker, Graham Patrick Martin, Benjamin Ross Kaplan, Austin Williams, Spenser Leigh, Michael Zegen, Dean Faulkenberry, Madeline Taylor, Catherine Mary Stuart, Grant Show, Kevin Chamberlin, and William Atherton.

Here's a description of Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door from the production: "Adapted from the controversial best-selling novel and based on real events, JACK KETCHUM'S THE GIRL NEXT DOOR is a dark thriller set in 1958. ¶ It is the story of a pair of recently orphaned girls in the care of Ruth Chandler (Emmy award winning actress Blanche Baker), a woman slowly going mad. Ruth decides that she must discipline the girls, and encourages her three young sons to share in the girls' punishments. David, their 12-year-old neighbor, has developed an innocent crush on the older sister. ¶ As the summer progresses, he finds himself a witness to her sadistic torture. He wants to stop the abuse, but first he must find an adult who will believe his unlikely story. More importantly, he must find the strength to betray his best friends and their mother, an adult he has looked up to all his life."
